THE POLICE

The Police were a english rock trio, formade originally in 1977. The members of Sting (laed vcals and bass), Andy Summers ( vocals and guitar)and Stewart Copeland (drums, vocals and percussion).
Between July 1977 to August 1977, the band have one more man, Henry Padovani (lead guitar).
The Police bacame popular in 1970`s, playing a style of rock that was influenced by jazz, punk and reggae music. Their 1983 album, Synchronicity, was number one in the UK and the US and sold over 8,000,000 copies in the US.
The band broke in 1984 after a fight os the leader Sting and drummer Stewart, but reunited in early 2007 for a one-off world tour lasting until August 2008, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their hit single "Roxanne". The most famous hit of the band is "Every breath you take".
The Police were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 10, 2003.
In geral, The Police have five discs: Outlandos d'Amour (1978; Reggatta de Blanc (1979)
Zenyattà Mondatta (1980; Ghost in the Machine (1981) and Synchronicity (1983).
